Measure & mark
We mark the line of the edging so curves are smooth and widths are consistent along the full run.
Set in concrete
Cobbles are set on a concrete footing with a concrete haunch so they stay put through plowing and freeze–thaw.
Clean finish
Joints are pointed, the lawn edge is restored, and the area is cleaned up.

Ideally before or at the same time as new asphalt so the paving butts cleanly against the stone. We can also add it to an existing driveway.
Does cobblestone edging survive snow plowing?
